Services

Southern Children’s Physiotherapy is a mobile service which means that we can visit your home to assess and treat your child.

Hospital/clinical settings can be a very alien environment to your child, and this can often mean that an accurate assessment of your child is not achieved. At Southern Children's Physiotherapy we understand how a familiar environment can help to get the best out of your child. We will therefore be able to provide an accurate assessment of your child and devise a specific treatment programme.

We cover a large area of the south coast including childrens physiotherapy Dorset, childrens physiotherapy Wiltshire and childrens physiotherapy Hampshire.

Although we specialise in treating children with neurological problems, we also see many babies and children who just need that extra little burst to reach their developmental milestones.

There are also a vast array of genetic conditions - many of which go un diagnosed - that have a significant impact on a child's physical development. Southern Children's Physiotherapy can help to devise a physio programme to target problem areas.

Southern Children’s Physiotherapy can offer a one off assessment and advice session, or it can provide more regular treatment sessions – in your home, at a time that is convenient to you. We can set up physiotherapy programmes that can be used at home, or in nurseries and schools or provide advice to any sports clubs that your child may wish to attend.

We are able to work closely with NHS therapists in order to enhance treatment already provided. This can be to get that little extra boost at certain times in your child's life, or after surgery or intevention such as botox. We can help achieve those goals in that "window of opportunity" after intervention.

We are happy for you to let us know what Southern Children’s Physiotherapy can do for you.
